They had moved up-market, away from my grasp. My anger and frustration knew no bounds. Sometimes, my skull would rotate within my head, causing mountain ranges to rise and fall across my face. I desired to remove my skull and show it to them. They would melt like butter in the intense radiance.

about

Produced by Big Block 454.
All tracks recorded in BB3F Studios, Manchester, between 1995 and 1998.

"The band has never hidden their fascination for krautrock bands like Can. A fascination which surfaces on this three songs EP. The music has a strong beat and some bass, drums and electronica on the top of that again. It is typical Can and trip-hop territory. It is also a pretty eccentric. The music is also very minimalistic.
Strangely enough, these thirteen minutes actually works. Each of the songs are (worryingly !) engaging. Sometimes, less is more. In the case of this EP, that rings true. This is actually a good EP which is well worth a download and your attention." - Torodd Fuglesteg

about

Big Block 454 Hebden Bridge, UK

Each band member is a multi-instrumentalist, but Big Block 454’s approach also encompasses the creation of sound on instruments they don’t know how to play, and those that hadn’t been invented before the band made them.
